

Our Founder, Dr. Audrieanna Burgin
Throughout her career, Dr. Burgin has led and supported research, funding, and impact initiatives across institutions and communities. She has helped secure more than $10 million in grants and endowments for higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations and has held leadership roles focused on translating research and data into practical strategies.
Dr. Burgin currently serves as Vice President of Data, Impact & Funding Strategy at LIFT JAX, where she leads work at the intersection of data, impact, and funding strategy. She previously served as the founding director of the University of North Florida's Diversity in Business Program, launched with a $700,000 investment from CSX.
A Jacksonville native, Dr. Burgin earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University, where her research focused on educational attainment and labor outcomes. She also holds a Master of Science in Economics and dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Economics and Management. An experienced economics educator, she brings an ability to translate complex research and economic concepts into insights that people can understand and use.
Her approach to Good Measure reflects a belief that sits at the center of her work: behind every data point is a person, a story, and an opportunity to drive meaningful impact.
